The Red Devils got to work early against the Pirates, backed by great play from many of the team's sophomores. In the second minute, Nate Hejnowski found Lucas Brady in front of the goal who finished on a soft volley over the keeper's head. In the 5th and 6th minute Nate would score a brace on assists from seniors Justin Carlson and Cass Hejnowski. Carson would score again 2 minutes later on a penalty kick, giving the Red Devils a 4 goal lead in less than 10 minutes. Sophomore Noah Hebble subbed in at the 20th minute to find a hat trick in 17 minutes, scoring goals in the run of play off two assists from Cass Hejnowski and one from Justin Carslon. Cass Hejnowski would go on to score two goals of his own on assists Carslon and Parker Cochran. Lowell scored off of a corner kick in the 30th minute when left footed sophomore Kyle Powell connected with freshman Levi Shuler who jumped high above a crowd of players to finish the goal to the far post. Just two minutes later Powell would connect sophomore Liam Tedechi for another great corner kick goal. In the second half, Freshman Aiden Jagiela finished a free kick assist from Ethan Tomko at the near post. Tomko would gain a second assist on a pass to Ben Banek who finished the play on a great kick from inside the box.
