Lowell Girls Soccer edges Bishop Noll 3-2! The Red Devils came out strong and took a 2-1 lead in the first half with both goals scored by Ellie Mirich, assisted by Macy Grskovich. Early in the second half, Lowell extended the lead to 3-1 when Ashley Mecha took advantage of an errant pass by the keeper, calmly chipping it over her head. Bishop Noll fought back with a second goal and nearly tied the match on a penalty kick, but goalkeeper Kortney Wilczewski came up huge—reading it perfectly and diving to make the save. Kortney finished the game with an incredible 14 saves to secure the win.
