Lowell Girls Soccer falls to Highland 4-2 The Red Devils came out strong, striking first when Camille Joppek’s throw-in found Kaelen Lulinski, who buried it in the back of the net for the early lead. Highland answered before halftime to make it 1-1. In the second half, Highland capitalized on their chances with three goals, but Lowell kept fighting. Kaelen Lulinski slipped a perfect through ball to Ashley Mecha, who finished to give the Devils their second goal of the night. Despite the late push, time ran out on the comeback effort. Goalkeeper Kortney Wilczewski had another outstanding performance, recording 15 saves in a busy outing. Next up: the girls travel to Boone Grove on Thursday night.
