The girls traveled to LaPorte for a triple dual meet, in which only 2 entries per event counted towards the score. We faced LaPorte, Calumet New Tech and Oregon Davis. Recovering from some recent illnesses, and injuries the girls had close races in several events, but ultimately falls to LaPorte, and triumphs over Calumet and Oregon Davis. Vaught, Sobecki, Copper) 200 Free 3rd place Gracie Vaught 200 IM 1st place Cali Kissel 50 Free 1st place Riley Copper, 3rd place Maddie Vaught Diving 2nd place Kaitlyn Kennedy, 3rd place Rylee Chesner 100 fly Madison Mitchel finished 4th and was the first time swimming this event and therefore is her PR. 100 Free 1st Place Riley Copper 500 Free 3rd place Ava Pocius 200 Free Relay 1st Place (Kissel, Sobecki, M. Vaught, Copper) 100 backstroke 1st place Cali Kissel, and a call out for a huge time drop by Brie Crose for a PR 100 Breaststroke 2nd place Jorie Sobecki 400 Free Relay 2nd place (G. Vaught, Miller, M. Vaught, Sobecki) The girls had another great meet with lots of great examples of sportsmanship to each other and the other teams.
