Over the weekend the boys cross-country team won the NCC meet in convincing fashion. This year’s win marks the fifth straight season the boys have won the title. Leading the way was Gabriel Sanchez who won the individual title for the second straight year. He was followed by Jacob Durr (3rd), and Jackson Bakker (9th). All three boys earned first team all-conference honors with their top ten finishes. Nick Nuccio and Carlos Vazquez finished 12th and 14th respectively, and were named second team all-conference. Jason Palicka (16th) and Ben Keeton (19th) earned honorable mention all-conference by finishing in the top 20. In the JV competition, the boys took the top five spots – Corey Ogrodowski, Anthony Carver, Nathan Hayden, Dominik Fosco, and Vaughn Huber led the team to a perfect score.

The team now enters the post-season, and will compete in the Sectional meet at Hebron on October 12.
