With many of the upperclassmen not racing, the Lady Red Devil cross country team got a glimpse into the future with the young guns competing on their own. The race led to all but one runner crossing with a personal best (the one runner was a mere 3 seconds off her PB). Reilly Boyer set the tone and led the way for the team. Reilly cracked twenty minutes (19:56) for the first time in her young career and finished 4th overall. The Red Devils next group packed it in tight and all finished in 23’s to finish out the scoring. Freshman Morgan Myers, junior Sarrah Krusza, senior Laurin Marsh, and freshman Gabby Morache rounded out the top 5.
The Red Devils travel to KV next weekend for the NCC conference championship race. The ladies hold a four year winning streak in the NCC.
